It is rare that a film is made about a social media community and it is even more rare that a feature length film is produced about the social media community surrounding an Olympic Games. Vancouver 2010 led to the creation of the first such film and it’s an amazing insight into how the people who don’t have ownership of the Olympic association took hold of their Olympic experience and made a difference to their lives. It’s a film that shows how the Olympics can be a catalyst for resistance that changes people’s lives.
